The building has stimulated interest in architecture and sustainability, and regularly features in architectural events taking place in the capital.
Description
A complete internal strip out was followed up with the installation of new services, lifts, toilets, staff restaurant, conference facilities, ground floor entrance and courtyard atria space. New, open-plan and cellular office areas were also created on all 14 floors.
50 Queen Annes Gate drove forward standards in environmental performance. As a result, the project was awarded an ‘excellent’ rating in its BREEAM assessment.
Aufbau worked with Land Securities on this redevelopment. It achieved the British Council of Offices Award for Best Refurbished/Recycled Workplace in 2010.
